Independent living is likely a good fit if you’re an active older adult who can manage daily tasks on your own but prefers maintenance-free living where you can focus more on your interests, social connections, and quality of life. How much does it cost to live in Independent Living at Fairlawn?
Fairlawn offers both life-lease and rental options on our independent living campus. There is no entry fee. Our continuous care community is organized so that you pay only for the services you need. Fairlawn has over 150 homes and apartments on our campus. We also offer an additional 49 affordable housing apartments through a program sponsored by the USDA.
Does Fairlawn offer affordable housing for seniors and individuals living with a disability?
Yes, Fairlawn offers 49 apartments featuring one or two bedrooms. Residency is available to individuals who are 62 years of age or older and individuals living with a disability, regardless of age. Can I volunteer at Fairlawn?
Yes! We are seeking volunteers to help with a wide range of activities, events, and projects. Examples include resident companions, entrance greeters, seasonal decoration set-up and tear-down, letter writers, yard clean-up, gardening maintenance, window washing, and more.
